The first addition will occur on double bond. Thus,
`CH-=C-CH_(2)-CH=CH_(2)overset(HBr)toCH-=C-CH_(2)-CHBr-CH_(3)` but in `CH-=C-CH=CH_(2)`, the addtion will occur at `CH-=C-` because the product formed is conjugated alkadiene, which is more stable.
