Solicon (Si) is a member of group 14 i.e., its valency is 4. Bromine is a member of halogen family, and herice its valence is 1. When they will combine the formulae of the compound formed will be
(ii) Aluminium is a member of group 13 and hence its valency.is 3. Sulphur belong to group 16. There are 6 valence electron and hence valency is 8-6=2.
