What is the origin of enphlpy change in chemical reaction ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Chemical reactions are taking places as a result of bond breaking and bond formation. This process takes place as a result of consmpution and evolution of heat energy. So, difference in the bond energies of reactant and product is the source of enthalpy change in chemical reaction.
