If we are having a solution of a substance with any another substance, which is acting as an imputrity, such a kind of substances are separated from each other through fractional crystallisation this technique is based on difference in solubilities of both the components in same solvent. When mixture of such components is dissolved in a solvent, one which is less soluble will crystals out first on cooling.
