write the relation between rate of reaction and collision frequency.

Rate of reaction is directly proportional to collision frequency and effective collision. As rate of reaction is directly related to rate constant, so it can be written as,
Rate of reaction, `k = ( - dx)/(dt) = Z xx f, `.....(i) , Here `f = e ^( - E//RT)` .......(ii)
The reacting molecules require activation energy for collision.
So eqn. (ii) written as,`f e ^( - H _(a) //RT)` .....(iii)
Substituting ean. (iii) into (i), we get `( - dx)/(dt) = Z xx e ^( - E _(n )//RT)k = Ze = E _(a) // RT` .......(iv)
By considering orientation factor into collisions, we get `k = PZe ^( E //RT) `
Where, P is called orientation factor.
