A lighter body and a heavier body have same K.E. Which one has greater momentum?

Text Solution

K. E. of the body, `K = (p^2)/(2m) implies P = sqrt(2mK)`.
Since K is same for both the bodies, so `p prop sqrt(m)`. It means, heavy body will have more momentum.
