A brass tumbler feels much colder than a wooden tray on a chilly day.

Brass is a good conductor fo heat .when we touch brass tumbler , heat flows from our body towards brass tumbler and temperature of finger is reduced . Thus brass number feels colder . Whereas , wood is a bad conductor of heat . So heat is not conducted to the wooden tray .
