What are the three modes of transfer of heat ?

Explanation

Heat can be transferred from one place to another through three ways :
(i) Conduction
(ii) Convection
(iii) Radiation .
Solids are heated by the process of conduction .liquid and gases are heated by the process of convection .Conduction and convection are slow processes while radiation is a fast process .
