A new quilt have more number of pores .These pores contain large quantity of air .As air is an insulator , it does not allow our body heat to flow out .However , the old quilt loses some of the air due to continuous use .Thus , flow of body heat becomes faster .Therefore a new quilt is warmer than old one .
