Cooking utensils are made up of aluminium and brass whereas their handles are made up of wood .Why ?

Explanation

Aluminium and brass are good conductors of heat .So , they absorb heat from the fire more rapidly and supply it to the food to be cooked .Whereas , wood being bad conductor of heat absorbs less heat and hence handles are less hot . Therefore , we can pick utensils easily .
