Tollen's test is given by aldehydes:
`Ag^(+)+barerarrAg, E_(red)^@=+0.800V` and `C_6H_12O_6+H_2OrarrC_6H_12O_7+2H^=+2bare, E_(ox)^@=-0.05V`
`[Ag(NH_3)_2]+barerarrAg+2NH_3, E_(red)^@=+0.373V` use `(F)/(RT)=38.9 V^-1`
On adding `NH_3`, pH for the solution increases to 11 then identity the effect on potential of half cell

A

`E_(ox)` increased by `E_(ox)^@` by 0.65V

B

`E_(ox)` decreased by `E_(ox)^@` by 0.65V

C

`E_(red)` increased by `E_(red)^@` by .65V

D

`E_(red)` decreased by `E_(red)^@` by 0.65V
