At two vertices A and B of an equilateral triangle, two point charges having magnitude each `q = 2muC` are placed. If L = 1m then, find the potential at C.

Magnitude of charges on A and B,
`q = 2muC = 2 xx 10^(-6) C`
Potential due to point A at point C,
`V_(A) = q/(4piepsilon_(0)L)`
Potential due to point 6 at point C.

`V_(B) = q/(4piepsilon_(0)L)`
`therefore` Potential at point
`C =V_(A) + V_(B)`
`=q/(4pi epsilon_(0)L) + q/(4pi epsilon_(0)L) = (2q)/(4pi epsilon_(0)L)`
`=(2 xx (9 xx 10^(9)) xx 2 xx 10^(-6))/1`
`=36 xx 10^(3) V`
