An audio signal is represented by Ym (t)...

An audio signal is represented by `Y_m (t) = 30 sin (2pi xx 2500t)` volt. The wave is used to modulate a carrier wave.
`Y_c (t) = 60 sin (2 pi xx 2 xx 10^5 t)` volt.
Find the amplitude of each side band.

Given, `Y_(m) (t) = 30 sin (2pi xx 2500 t) " "…(i) `
and `Y_c (t) = 60 sin (2pi xx 2 xx 10^5 t)" "…(ii)`
Now , we know that
`Y_m (t) = A_m sin omega_m t" "(iii)`
and `Y_c (t) = A_c sin omega_c t" "(iv)`
Comparing Eq. (i) with Eqs. (iii) and (i) with (iv), we get
`A_m = 30 V, A_c = 60 V`
`f_m =2500 Hz , f_c = 2xx 10^5 Hz`
Amplitude of each side band
`= mu xx (A_c)/(2) =(0.5xx60)/(2) = 15 V`
