When an unknown resistance and a resistance of 4Omega are connected in the left and right gaps of a meterbridge, the balance point is obtained at 50 cm. the shift in the balance point if a 4Omega resistance is now connected in parallel to the resistance in the right gap is

Two resistances when connected in series give a total resistance of 18Omega and when connected in parallel gives a total resistance of 4Omega . Find the value of each resistance.

A certain unknown resistance is connected in the left gap and a resistance box in the right gap of a metre bridge. By introducing a resistance of 10 Omega with the help of resistance box, the balance point is determined. If the balance point shift by 20 cm on increasing the resistance from the resistance box by 12.5 Omega Find the value of unknown resistance.

Two resistances are connected in the two gaps of a meter bridge. The balance point is 20 cm from the zero end. When a resistance 15 Omega is connected in series with the smaller of two resistance, the null point shifts to 40 cm. The smaller of the two resistance has the value.
