How can you increases the velocity of photoelectrons by increasing intensity or by increasing frequency or by increasing both explain your answer

The velocity of photoelectrons can be increased by increasing just the frequency of the incident radiation. This is because photoelectron.s velocity depends upon its kinetic energy which in turn depends upon frequency of the incident light. Intensity of light does not affect the velocity of photoelectrons. By Einstein.s photoelectric equation,
`hv = hv_(0) + (1)/(2) m_(e) v^(2)`
or ` v = sqrt({2h(v-v_(0))//m_(e)})`
Since `m_(e) and h` are constnat, thus we can increase velocity v of the electron by increasing the frequency v .
