Let OA be the initial position of string and a mass suspended at the end Abe displaced at an angle `30^(@)` from its vertical position by the horizontal force F. Figure

The various forces acting on the body at B are
(i) The weight `=mg=0.03 xx9.8 N` acting vertically downwards,
(ii) The force Facting horizontally
(iii) The tension Tacting along the string.
As the body is in equilibrium, therefore, the three forces acting on the body must be represented by the sides of the triangle OCB taken in one order. Hence `(F)/(CB)=(mg)/(OC)=(T)/(BO)`
`:. F=mgxx(CB)/(OC)=(0.3xx9.8)xx tan 30^(@)`
`=0.03xx9.8xx(1)/(sqrt(3))N=0.1694 N=0.03xx(1)/(sqrt(3))` kfg =`0.01732` kgf
