माना कि प्रारंभ में आय ₹ 100 थी।
`therefore` बचत = ₹ 25, खर्च = ₹ 75
आय में वृद्धि के बाद
नई आय `= 100 xx 120/100`
= ₹ 120
नई खर्च `= 75 xx 110/100 = = ₹ 82.5`
बचत = `120 - 82.5 = 37.5`
बचत में % वृद्धि = `(37.5 - 25)/(25) xx 100 = 50%`
