माना कि A की मजदूरी Rs 100 प्रतिदिन है।
`therefore` कुल राशि = 100 `xx` 21 = Rs 2100
`therefore`B की मजदूरी =` 2100/28` = Rs 75
पुनः माना कि x दिनों तक A तथा B को मजदूरी देने के लिए वह राशि पर्याप्त है।
`therefore`100 `xx` x + 75 `xx`x = 2100
