Three numbers are in the ratio `1 : 2 : 3`. By adding 5 to each of them, the new numbers are in the ratio `2:3:4`. The numbers are:

मानाकि आनुपातिक गुणांक x हैI `:.` संख्याएँ x, 2x तथा 3x होंगी
प्रश्नानुसार,
`(x+5)/(2x+5)= 2/3` ................(i)
`(2x+5)/(3x +5) = 3/4` ………….. (ii)
समी. (i) को हल करने पर :-
`3x + 15 = 4x + 10`
`implies x= 15-10`
`implies x=5`
`:. " संख्याएँ " 5, 10, 15` होगी।
