The ratio of monthly incomes of A, B is `6 : 5` and their monthly expenditures are In the ratio `4 : 3`. If each of them saves Rs 400 per month, find the sum of their monthly incomes.

माना कि A तथा B के आय का आनुपातिक गुणांक x है तथा व्यय का आनुपातिक गुणांक y है
`:. 6x-4y = 400` ............... (i)
`5x-3y = 400` ............... (ii)
समी. (i) x 3- समी. (ii) x 4 करने पर
`18x- 12y -20x + 12y = 1200-1600`
`implies - 2x = - 400`
`implies x= 200`
`:.` A तथा B की आय `= 6x + 5x = 11x = 11xx 200 = 2200`
