HF molecules are hydrogen bonded as H-F…H-F…Therefore, they can associate to from `HF_(2)^(-)` anion which can exist in combination with `K^(+)` ion as `KHF_(2),` But no hydrogen bonding is present in H-Cl molecules. Therefore the anion `HCl_(2)^(-)` and `KHCl_(2)` donot exist.
