Then `F_1 = (GMm)/R^2 `
`F_2= (GMm)/((R+h)^2)`
According to question, `ltbr. `F_1/F_2 = ((R+h)^2)/R^2 `
`rarr 2= ((R+h)^2)/R^2 `
` rarr sqrt(2)=1 + h/R`
`rarrh= (sqrt(2)-1)R, `
` = 0.414xx6400 = 2649 km`.
