C
Let the ages of Ram and Mohan be x yr and `(16+ x) `yr, respectively.
Now, `(16+x-6)= 3(x - 6) `
`implies x + 10 = 3x - 18`
`implies 2x = 28 implies x = 14 yr `
`therefore` Required sum = `14 + (16+14)`
`= 14 + 30 = 44 `yr
