A network of six identical capacitors each of value C is made as shown in the figure find the equivalent capacitance between the points A& B.

The equivalent network of the given network is

in (1) `Cp_(1)=C+C=2C`
in (2) `Cp_(2)=C+C=2C`

`implies(1)/(C_(s_(1)))=(1)/(2C)+(1)/(C)=(3)/(2C)`
`(1)/(C_(s_(1)))=(2C)/(3)`
Also, `C_(s_(2))=(2C)/(3)`

`C_(P_(3))=C_(eq)=C_(S_(1))+C_(S_(2))=(2C)/(3)+(2C)/(3)`
`=(4C)/(3)`
