(i) In an empty vessel, only air is present inside it. Whenever sound is produced in an empty vessel, the vibration of air molecule will be more due to multiple reflections.
(ii) Vibration of air is greater than liquids.
(iii) So, empty vessel produce more sound than a filled one.
