Given: E = 120000 `Vm^-1`
`e= 1.6 xxx 10^-19C`
Working: `:.` F= Ee,
`F= 1.6 xx 10^19xx1.2 xx10^5`
`= 1.92xx10^-14N`
Acceleration `a=F/m=(1.92xx10^-4)/(9.1xx10^-31)`
`= 2.12 xx10^16ms^-2`
Time taken to travel 20 mm or 0.02 m is given by `s = 1/2 at^2`
`t= sqrt((2s)/a)= sqrt((2xx0.02)/(2.12 xx10^16))`
`= 1.37 xx10^-9 s`
Force `F = 1.92 xx10^-14N`
Acceleration `a= 2.12 xx10^16 ms^-2`
Time taken to travel 20mm from rest
`t= 1.37 xx10^-9s`
