Write a note on carrier protein.

Explanation

Carrier protein acts as a vehicle to carry molecules from outsid of the membrane to inside of the vice versa.Due to association with molecules to be tranbsported,the strucutre of carrier protien gets modified until the dissociation of the molecules.

There are three type of carrier proteins classified on the basis of handling of molecules and direction of tranport .They are (i) Uniport ,(ii)Symport,(iii)Antiport.
