The follicular cells of thyroid gland secretes two hormones namely tri-iodot~yronine `(T_(3))` and thyroxine. or tetra-iodothyronine `(T_(4))`. The parafollicular cells or .C. cells of thyroid gland secrete a hormone called thyrocailcitonin.
