(i) Polyembryony is defined as the occurrence of more than one embryo in a seed.
(ii) It can be exploited for commercial purposes. For example in Citrus, seedings formed from the nuclear tissue are found to be better clones for orchards. Embryos derived through polyembryony are found to be virus free.
