Explanation

(i) Generally, these flowers are large or they are aggregated in big inflorescence, if they are tiny. Eg: Asteraceae flowers.
(ii) The flowers are brightly coloured to attract insects : In some flowers, the adjacent parts of flowers are brightly coloured. Eg: In Poinsettia and Bougainvillea the bracts are coloured.
(iii) These flowers produce nectar and are scented to attract insects.
(iv) In some flowers, the pollen and floral parts may be consumed as food or used as building material for its hives as in the case of honeybees.
(v) Some flowers produce fowl odours to attract flies and beetles.
(vi) In some flowers, the juice content is sucked by the visitors after piercing the juice cells present in the flower.
