Verified by Experts

Heredity is the process of transformation of characters from parents to offspring. Two rules on heredity were proposed by Mendel, based on the observation on monohybrid cross. The first rule is the law of dominance and the second one is the law of segregation. These rules play an important role in the history of evolution.
