Verified by Experts

The plantlets developed in the culture room needs hardening to withstand the changes in the field . Therefore they are transferred to green house or hardening chamber. After some time they are transferred to normal environmental conditions. Hardening is the process in which the plantlets developed in vitro condition are slowly exposed to diffused light for acclimatization so as to enable them to grow under normal field condition.
