(ii) The soil organic matter is increased and maintained and nutrient cycle between species also improves.
(iii) The atmospheric temperature, relative humidity and `O_(2),-CO_(2)` balance are maintained.
(iv) Agroforestry is good system for alternate land use pattern.
(v) The multipurpose trees like Acacia are used for wood pulp, tanning paper and fire wood industries.
(vi) Agro-forestry is recommended for farm forestry, mixed forestry shelter belts and linear strip of plantation.
