Remote sensing is the acquision of information about an object without making physical contact with the object by measuring its reflected and emitted radiation at a distance from the target area. It gives exact picture and data on identification of even a single tree in a large area of vegetation and wild life. It is also helpful in identification of biodiversity rich or less areas for futuristic works on conservation and restoration of biota. It helps in the maintenances of various species including commercial crops, medicinal plants and threatened plants.
