(ii) Rehabilitation of degraded forests to increase `CO_(2)` fixation, leading to reduction of atmospheric carbon-dioxide.
(iii) Medicinal plants are planted in mixed planation and produce natural medicines.
(iv) Regeneration of indigenous herbs and shrubs.
(v) The other objectives includes increase of availability of water table or ground water, reduction of nitrgen leaching from the soil and reduction of nitrogen contaimination of drinking water.
