(ii) Rubber is used in the manufacture of footware, wire and cable insulations, rain coats, household and hospital goods, erasers, adhesives and rubber bands. Concentrated latex is used for making gloves, balloons and condoms. Cushion, pillows and life belts are manufactured from foamed latex.
