Semen or seminal fluid is a milky white fluid containing sperm and seminal plasma. The seminal plasma contains the secretions from seminal vesicles, prostate gland and bulbourethral glands. This fluid acts as a transport medium for sperms. It also provides nutrients and chemicals that protect and activate the sperms.
