Explain briefly the normal development of breast.

The normal development of breast in female takes place at puberty and progresses with changes in each menstrual cycle. The breast size is mainly due to fat deposits. The glandular structure is under developed in non - pregnant woman. In pregnant woman, the glandular structure develops. The efficiency of lactation does not have any influence on the size of the breast.
