The fertilized egg undergoes cleavage and form a fluid filled hollow ball of about 100 cells, called the blastocyst. Under the influence of progesterone, the embryo move through fallopian tube into the uterine caity and becomes embedded in the endometrium of the uterus and this process is called implantation.
