Brief about female heterogamety.

In certain insects the heterogametic females are common. In this ZW-ZZ type of sex determination female has ZH chromosomes. In the gamete formation male produces only one type of sperm with Z chromosome while female can produce two types of egg. one with Z chromosome and another with W chromosome . this is called female heterogamety.
