Explanation

Karl Landsteiner and Alexander Wiener discovered Rh factor in the blood fo these monkey macaca rhesus and later in human Rh factor refers to D antigen of Rh blood group system. An individual having D antigen is Rh D positive `(Rh^(+))` and an individual without D antigen is Rh D negative `(Rh^(-))` Rhesus factor in the blood is inherited as a dominant trait.
As per the hypothesis of Fisher and Race, the three pairs of ganes of Rh factor are labeled Cc, Dd and Ee occur at different loci on homologous chromosome pair one. the possible genotypes will be one C or c one D or d one E or e from each chromosome , for example CDE/cde, Cd/EeDe, cde/cde, CD/cdE etc. All genotypes having dominant D allele will produce `Rh^(+)` phenotype and Double recessive will result in `Rh^(-)` negative phenotype.
