The application of this technique are as following :
I Karyotyping helps in gender indetification
ii This technique can be used to detect chromsosmal aberrations like delection duplicatin translocation nondisjunction .
iii the chromosomal abnormalities like aneuploidy can be detected by using this technique.
(iv) the evolutionary relationship of species can also be predicted .
(v) It helps in the detection of genetic diseases in human being.
