Sex Linked inheritance is the inheritance of a trait that is determined by a gene located on one of sex chromosomes . Colour blind gene is inherited through sex chromosomes . For a marriage between a colour blind man and a normal visioned woman will produce no individuals. But `F_(1)` females are carriers of colour blind gene , When this `f_(1)` female marrys normal visioned male will produce one normal normal visioned male and one colour blind male . so this trait is inherited from the male parent to his grandson through carrier daughter. This type of inheritance is known as criss- cross inheritance.
