Explanation

The Wiener hypothesis is proposed by Wiener and it states that at a single Rh locus there are eight alleles `(R^(1) ,R^(2 ), R^(0) , R^(2) , r , r^(1) , r^(11), r^(y))`. The Rh positive will be produced when all genolypes carry a dominant R allele `(R^(1),R^(2),R^(0) , R^(2))` wheres the `Rh^(-)` negative phenotype is expressed due to double recessive gentypes `(rr, rr^(1), rr^(11) , rr^(y))` .
