Explanation

One of the preventive method of Erythroblastosis foetalis is to administrate anti D antibodies to the mother 28th and 34th week of gestation as a prophylactic measure. This anti D antibody should be given to `Rh^(-)` mother immediately after child birth if she delivers `Rh^(+)` child developing passive immunity and preventing teh formation of anti D anti bodies in mother blood before teh sensitization of mother immune system.
