Resistors having resistances of `15 Omega`, `20 Omega` and `10 Omega` are connected in parallel. What is the effective resistance in the circuit?

`R_(1)=15 Omega, R_(2) =20 Omega and R_(3)=10 Omega`
`(1)/(R_(p))=(1)/(E_(1))+(1)/(R_(2))+(1)/(R_(3))`
`(1)/(R_(P)) =(1)/(15)+(1)/(20)+(1)/(10)=(4+3+6)/(60)=(13)/(60)`
`R_(p) =(60)/(13)=4.615 Omega`
`therefore` Effective resistance in the circuit `= 4.615 Omega`, less than the least of the three, `10 Omega`.
