Necessary conditions for autotrophic nutrition :
(i) (a) Presence of chlorophyll in the living cells.
(b) Provision of supply of water to green parts or cells of plant either through roots or by surrounding environment.
( c) Availability of sufficient of sunlight to provide energy required to carry out photosynthesis.
(d) Sufficient supply of carbon dioxide which is one the important component for the formation of carbohydraed during photosynthesis.
(ii) The by-products of autotrophic nutrition are (carbohydrate), water and oxygen.
