How do Mendel's experiment show that traits inherited independently ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Mendel performed an experiment in which he took different traits , like tall and short plant , and round wrinkled seeds . In 2nd `(F_(2))` generation , some plants were tall with round seeds and some were short plants having round seeds . Thus , the tall/short traits and round/wrinkled traits are independently inherited .
