According to the question Sumit reached the place 20 minutes before 8.50 hrs i.e. (8.50 hrs-20 minute0
=8.30 hrs
So the man who was 40 minutes late would rech the place at(8.30 hrs +30 minute) =9.00 hrs
Therefore, required scheduled time of the meeting
=40 minutes before 9.00 hrs
=(9.00hrs-40minute) =8.20 hrs
