Before interchanging: Deepa.s rank from the right end `=8^(th)`. Nada.s rank from the left end `=12^(th)`.

After interchanging: Nada.s rank from the left end `=21^(st)`. So, Total number of girls `=(21+ 8)-1=28`. Therefore, Deepa.s position from the right `=(28+12) +1=17^(th)`
